So my web site went live, I have the business cards and the photo albums from Blurb which means I am ready to launch my assault on Buenos Aires. It’s quite ammusing here as wedding photography is still slightly stuck in the time warp of the 70s that infecs a lot of aspects of this city. There are not really albums here. Instead you get a stack of 150 photos spiral-bound that could well have been shot by Uncle Larry. And Trash the Dress has thus far been greeted with horror by the matrons who control everything here not just the wedding – ‘We keep our dresses for our daughters’. Well yes, that’s the point!

Web Launch

Having spent the last two weeks stuck in customs hell trying to free a few boxes of treasured books out of imprisonment on the docks, I simply couldn’t wait any longer to upload the web site that has been more than a month in the making. www.tracyjohnsonphoto.com

 

Even though I’m still tinkering around with it and trying not to be depressed that I have lost an entire hard drive of photos in the move from UK – I am very excited to see it out there.

Lessons learned this week – NEVER ship anything to Argentina (Maybe I should have rid myself of absolutely everything). Make more than one back up of photos.
